Access the Communities Feature

  1. Navigate to the Communities Section:
  • Go to the Memberships area in the left-hand menu.
  • Select Communities and then click on Groups.
  • This is where you’ll manage all your community groups.

Setting Up Your Community Domain

  1. Configure the Domain:
  • If you haven’t already set up a domain for your Client Portal, do so now, as the Communities feature shares the same domain.
  • Navigate to Sites \> Client Portal \> Settings \> Domain Setup.
  1. Choose a Domain Option:
METHOD 01Use a pre-configured subdomain under "clientclub.net". Simply select this option and hit Update Domain.
METHOD 02Set up a custom domain. Enter your desired domain name and follow the steps to configure DNS settings with your domain registrar.

Creating and Setting Up Your Group

  1. Create a New Group:
  • In the Communities section, click on GroupsCreate Group.
  • Fill in the necessary details such as Group Name, Group URL (Slug), and Group Description.
  1. Customize Your Group:
  • Branding: Choose a primary color, upload a logo, cover image, and favicon to align the group’s appearance with your brand.
  • Visibility: Decide if the group will be public or private and if it will be free or paid.
  • Pricing: For paid groups, set up the pricing structure, including recurring or one-time payments and trial periods if applicable.
  1. Save and Create:
  • Once all settings are configured, click Create Group to finalize. From the Status tab, you can activate or deactivate the group at any time.

Customizing and Managing Your Groups

  1. Adjust Group Settings:
  • Go to the group settings to change the group name, description, and URL.
  • Modify the branding, add promotional links, and set up any additional features.

  • Invite members by sending a direct URL or invitation email.
  • Assign roles such as admins, moderators, or regular members to help manage the group.
