Access the Communities Feature

  1. Navigate to the Communities Section:
  • Go to the Memberships area in the left-hand menu of The the platform
  • Select Communities and then click on Groups.
  • This is where you’ll manage all your community groups.

Create a New Group

  1. Click on Create Group:
  • In the Communities section, click on Create Group.
  • Fill in the necessary details such as Group Name, Group URL (Slug), and Group Description.
  1. Customize the Group Appearance:
  • Choose a Primary Color that represents your brand.
  • Upload a Group Logo, Cover Image, and Favicon to align the group’s appearance with your branding.
  • Click on Create Group
  1. Set the Group Type to Public:
  • Under Group Settings, locate the Group Type option.
  • Select Public to allow anyone with the group URL to join and participate.
  • Save your settings.

Manage and Promote Your Public Group

  1. Invite Members:
  • Share the group URL via email, social media, or your website to encourage people to join.
  • Public groups allow anyone with the URL to join without needing approval, fostering open participation.
  1. Create Channels and Posts:
  • Organize discussions by creating channels for specific topics.
  • Encourage members to create posts and engage in discussions within these channels.
  1. Monitor Activity and Engagement:
  • Regularly check the Discussion tab to monitor conversations and ensure a positive environment.
  • Use the People tab to see all members and encourage active participation.
