Grant a new or existing lead access to their membership course seamlessly.
Ideal Outcome
The lead receives an email with a link to the membership site, along with their login email and password. Upon logging in, they will see the membership offer(s) they signed up for.
Why It Matters
Granting timely access to content that a customer has signed up for, especially if they’ve paid for it, is crucial to maintaining your reputation as an online vendor. Automating this process also reduces human error and speeds up the handling of large numbers of new members.

METHOD 01Membership Settings

Visit Membership Settings

  • Navigate to the membership settings page by going to MembershipsCoursesSettings.

Enable Welcome Email

  • Enable the default Welcome Email system under Email Settings.
  • Save your changes by clicking Save.

Optional

  • By default, AIO HQ sends a predetermined email when using this method.
  • You can choose a custom template by clicking on the dropdown menu, selecting your desired template, and clicking Save.
  • Create your own email templates by going to MarketingEmailsTemplates.

METHOD 02Utilizing Workflows

Visit the Workflows Page

  • Go to AutomationWorkflows.

Create a New Workflow

  • Create a new workflow by clicking on Create WorkflowStart from Scratch.

Add a Workflow Trigger

  • This trigger automatically adds leads to this automation.
  • To send membership emails via workflows, the workflow trigger MUST be New Signup.

Add a Workflow Action

  • To add an email action, click on the + sign above END, and select Send Email.

Set Up Your Email

  • Fill in the required fields, including From Name and From Email, these are the sending name and email that will appear in the recipient's inbox.

Draft Your Email

  • You can select an existing custom email template or draft a new email.
  • Using a template:
  • Create your own email templates by going to MarketingEmailsTemplates.
  • Drafting a new email:
  • To populate the relevant membership information, include the custom value. This automatically adds a link to a login page where members can set up their password.
  • This value can be found under CourseNew SignupLogin Email (Magic Link).

Save the Action

  • Once you’ve set up your email action, click on Save Action.

Publish and Save Your Workflow

  • After customizing your workflow, click on the Publish toggle and then Save to enable your workflow.
